This page explains how Online Match 3 Games uses cookies and similar technologies. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers data handling more broadly.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep. Related technologies — local storage, and the small markers scripts leave behind — work the same way for the purposes of this page.
What we use, and why
- Essential. WordPress sets a small number of cookies needed for the site to function, and to keep a session for anyone signed in to administer it. Visitors do not need an account and are not signed in.
- Play counter. A short-lived marker keeps the same visitor from adding more than one play to the same game within half an hour. It holds no personal data.
- Analytics. Our self-hosted analytics is configured not to profile individuals; it records visits and simple events in aggregate.
- Advertising. Third-party advertising partners may set cookies to measure ad delivery and, where permitted, to personalise ads. These are set by the partners, not by us.
- Inside the game frame. A game embedded from its distributor may set its own cookies within its frame, under that provider’s policies.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and offers a private-browsing mode. Where local law requires it, you will be asked for a choice before non-essential cookies are set, and you can change that choice at any time. Blocking cookies does not stop the games from loading.
