Match 3D

About this page. Match 3D is a mobile title published by other studios, and this site is not affiliated with them. The original is no longer distributed to sites like this one, so what runs on this page is Tile Match Cafe by GamePush — a triple-tile board of the type the page was named for.

A triple-tile board is a sorting problem dressed as a puzzle. Tiles lie stacked and overlapping, you tap the ones you can reach, and each tap moves that tile into a tray. Three of a kind in the tray disappear together; anything else stays there taking up room.

That tray is the entire game. It holds only so much, and a run of tiles whose partners are buried under other stacks will fill it long before the board looks difficult. Good play is therefore about reading what is underneath before committing: freeing a pair whose third piece is visible beats collecting three unrelated tiles that each need something you cannot see.

Levels run from gentle to genuinely tight, and the difficulty comes almost entirely from how deeply the sets are buried rather than from any timer.

Controls

Click or tap a tile to send it to the tray below the board.

How to Play

  1. Scan the board for tiles whose matching pair is already in view.
  2. Tap tiles to move them into the tray — three identical ones clear together.
  3. Work from the top of a stack down: clearing an upper tile exposes what is beneath.
  4. Keep tray space free; a full tray with no trios in it ends the level.

Tips & Tricks

Count before you tap. Committing a tile whose two partners are still buried spends a tray slot for an unknown length of time, and two of those in a row is how most levels are actually lost.
