Forgotten Treasure 2

Forgotten Treasure 2 asks for a little planning rather than speed. Obstacles sit on the board and cannot be swapped; the only way to remove one is to make a match right against it, so the question every turn is which line does double duty — scoring and clearing the thing that blocks you. Read the board from the obstacles outward and you will spend far fewer moves than reading it from the loose jewels inward.

There is more than one thing to do with what you gather. Alongside the adventure route, where you collect treasure as you go, the game runs seasonal packs: each one asks for a particular set of ingredients, and the relics you build from them are the reason to keep coming back after a level is already beaten. One long-running strand has you helping a deer decorate a Christmas tree, so a winter mood turns up here whatever month you are playing in.

It is a calm game by design. Nothing rushes you between moves, the jewel art is soft rather than loud, and a level you fail is simply a level you read again.

Controls

Click or tap two neighbouring jewels to swap them and line up three of a kind.

How to Play

  1. Swap two neighbouring jewels to line up three or more of the same colour.
  2. Aim matches at the obstacles rather than at open space — obstacles only break when a match lands against them.
  3. Work through the adventure route to collect treasure, and dip into the seasonal packs when you want a different goal.
  4. Save the ingredients you win: relics are built from complete sets, not from single pieces.

Tips & Tricks

When two matches look equally good, take the one nearer the bottom of the board. Everything above it falls, and the drop often lands you a second match for free — which on an obstacle-heavy level is the difference between finishing with moves to spare and starting over.

Frequently Asked Questions

What am I actually trying to do in Forgotten Treasure 2?

Combine jewels to break the obstacles on the board, and collect the treasure and ingredients that a cleared level pays out.

Is there more than one mode?

Yes. There is an adventure route where you collect treasures as you progress, and seasonal packs that ask for specific ingredients, which you then turn into relics.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The game runs in your browser on this page, with nothing to download and no account to create.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It is built for touch as well as mouse, so tapping two jewels swaps them the same way clicking does.
