Flat Jewels takes the oldest board in the genre and redraws it in modern flat design — no gloss, no facets, just clean shapes that are easy to tell apart. The mechanic is deliberately untouched.

Two modes split the audience neatly. Levels mode runs to a hundred and fifty boards with simple tasks, which suits a player who wants progress to be visible. Time Attack drops the structure and asks for a score in a fixed window, which suits a player who wants the board and nothing else.

The flat treatment is more than a style choice: on a busy grid, shapes without shading are quicker to distinguish, and both modes benefit — the timed one obviously, the level one on its more crowded boards.

1. Pick a mode: Levels for a structured run, Time Attack for a score chase.
2. Swap two neighbouring jewels to line up three or more.
3. In Levels mode, read the simple task each board sets.
4. In Time Attack, keep clearing — hesitation costs more than an imperfect move.
