Athena Match
A match-3 board set in Ancient Greece, with Athena as guide and artifacts in place of the usual gems.

Athena Match dresses a standard swap board in Greek myth. The pieces are artifacts rather than sweets or jewels, the backdrop moves between temple and hillside, and the goddess Athena appears as the figure guiding you between chapters.
Theme in this genre is rarely decoration alone, because it decides what the board reads like at a glance. Artifacts are busier shapes than round candies, which makes the first few boards slower to scan and the later crowded ones more demanding. If you like a board you can read instantly, that is a cost; if you find plain gem grids interchangeable, it is the point.
Underneath, the rules are the ones you already know. Line up three or more, clear the goal the level sets, move along the map. The Greek framing supplies the reason to keep going rather than a new way to play.
Controls
Swap two adjacent artifacts by clicking or tapping them in turn.
How to Play
- Swap two touching artifacts to form a line of three or more.
- Check what the level counts — a colour, a tile, or a piece to bring down.
- Build lines of four and five where you can; they leave clearing pieces behind.
- Spend those pieces on obstacles rather than on open board.
Tips & Tricks
Scan the goal before the grid. Players who clear the prettiest cascade and still fail a level are almost always clearing the wrong colour efficiently.
