No swapping: click a brick to change its shape until three of a kind line up.
Match 3030 removes the swap entirely and replaces it with something rarer: you click a brick and it changes into the shape you want. Sets of three or more identical bricks then disappear as usual.
Being able to change any piece sounds like it would make the game trivial, and it does the opposite — with every square editable, there is no such thing as a board with no moves, so the puzzle becomes about efficiency instead of possibility. The question is not whether you can make a match but how few changes it takes.
Coloured bricks on a clean field keep the board readable, and the format makes it unusually welcoming for players who find the standard swap frustrating: nothing here is ever stuck, only inefficient.

How to Play

Tips & Tricks
Count the changes a match will cost before making the first one. Two clicks for a three is fine; four clicks for a five is usually worse than leaving the board alone and looking elsewhere.
