Emoji Match 3

The twist here is that you do not move tiles, you move rows. Dragging a row shifts every emoji in it at once, and matches form when three or more identical faces line up as a result. One action changes an entire line of the board, which makes the arithmetic quite different from an ordinary swap game.

Because a row-shift affects many tiles, the useful skill is looking at columns rather than at pairs. A single slide can complete a match you were aiming for and break two you had not noticed, and boards are lost far more often to the second thing than to a shortage of options.

The presentation is deliberately light: familiar emoji faces, quick sound effects on every clear, and no systems to learn. It also carries a multiplayer strand, so a session can be a race rather than a solo run.

1. Look along the columns for two identical emoji that sit one row apart.
2. Drag a row sideways to bring the third into line.
3. Check what else the shift moves — a slide changes the whole row, not one tile.
4. Take on other players when you want the competitive version.

Plan the slide by reading the column you are aiming at, not the row you are dragging. The row is only the tool; the match happens vertically, and beginners consistently watch the wrong line.
