Jelly Island

Jelly Island splits itself in two, and the split is the reason to keep it around. Time Attack is the endless mode: no finish line, just you against the clock for as long as you can keep collecting. History is the opposite — twenty-five levels that get harder as they go, each with its own objective, its own special jellies and its own obstacles to work around.

They reward different habits. In Time Attack the right move is the one you can see immediately, because hesitation is the only real mistake. In History the right move is often the one you take three turns from now, once an obstacle is out of the way. Playing both is how the game stops feeling repetitive: the same board, read two ways.

The island itself is the frame — a batch of cheerful jellies waiting to be collected, bright art, nothing menacing. It is an easy game to hand to someone who does not play much, and a decent score chase for someone who does.

1. Pick your mode: Time Attack for an endless run, History for the twenty-five-level route.
2. Swap two adjacent jellies to line up three or more of a kind.
3. In History, read the level objective first and work the obstacles rather than the open board.
4. In Time Attack, keep moving — a decent match made now beats a perfect one found too late.

Learn the special jellies in History before you take them into Time Attack. Knowing at a glance what a special piece clears is worth more under a clock than any amount of careful board-reading.
