Sea Bubble Pirates

This one is a shooter rather than a swapper. A cannon sits at the bottom of the deck and you fire coloured bubbles up into the cluster above; when a shot lands against two or more of its own colour, the group pops. Anything that was hanging from the popped group and is no longer attached to the ceiling falls too, which is where the large clears come from.

So the shot that pops the most bubbles is rarely the shot that helps most. Cutting the strand a cluster hangs by drops the whole thing, and a player who thinks in strands rather than in colours clears the deck in a fraction of the shots. Bank shots off the side walls are part of that: the angle you cannot reach directly is usually reachable off a wall.

Gold coins come in as rewards along the way, and the pirate framing keeps it light — a captain, a ship, and a deck that gets steadily emptier.

1. Aim the cannon at a group of bubbles that matches the colour you are about to fire.
2. Land the shot against two or more of the same colour to pop the group.
3. Look for bubbles holding a cluster to the ceiling — break the link and everything below it falls.
4. Use the side walls to bounce shots into angles the cannon cannot hit straight on.

Check the colour of your next bubble before you fire the current one. Two shots planned together let you set up a strand and then cut it, which clears far more than two good shots taken one at a time.
