Bubble Game 3 Deluxe

This is the deluxe cut of a shooter that has been around long enough to be familiar to most people who play browser puzzles. The core is untouched: aim a coloured bubble at a ceiling of bubbles, connect three of a kind, drop whatever was hanging beneath them.

What the deluxe edition adds is a place to put your winnings. Coins earned on the board buy backgrounds and bubble sets in a shop, and logging in on a new day pays a small bonus. None of that changes a single shot. It changes the reason to take the next one, which for a score-chasing format is not nothing.

Judged as a shooter it is competent and plain. The aiming line is honest, the colour palette is legible, and the board does not hide its state behind effects. Judged as a reason to come back, the shop is doing most of the work.

1. Match your bubble's colour to a group already on the ceiling.
2. Fire; three connected of one colour fall, and so does anything they were holding up.
3. Use the side walls to reach bubbles you cannot hit straight on.
4. Spend coins in the shop when a set makes the board easier for you to read.

Detaching beats popping. A single well-placed shot that cuts a supporting bubble can drop a whole hanging cluster, which scores far better than clearing the same bubbles three at a time.
