Jelly Challenge

Jelly Challenge is a dragging game rather than a swapping one. You pick up a jelly and drop it where you want it, so the board is arranged by hand and the score comes from how many sweets you can collect before you run out of room to work in.

Direct placement makes the game feel more physical than a grid-based board. There is no invisible rule about which pieces may trade places — if you can reach it, you can move it — and that freedom means a bad position is entirely your own doing.

It is built for a short session and a number at the end. The jellies are drawn plump and glossy, the animation is quick, and a run lasts about as long as a cup of coffee.

Controls

Drag and drop a jelly with the mouse, or drag it with a finger on a touchscreen.

How to Play

  1. Drag a jelly with the mouse or your finger and drop it where you want it.
  2. Gather matching jellies together to collect them.
  3. Collect as many as you can to push the score up.
  4. Keep some free space; a crowded board is what ends a run.

Tips & Tricks

Decide where a jelly is going before you pick it up. Dragging while you think is how pieces end up parked in the middle of the board, and the middle is the space you will want later.
