Thirty seconds is all you start with. Connecting three or more candies by shape and colour clears them; making the connection longer scores more and, crucially, extends the clock. The game is an economy in miniature: time in, time out.

Which makes the standard advice wrong here. Taking every quick three keeps you busy and still loses, because a three barely pays for the seconds spent finding it. Runs are extended by players who accept a moment of apparent inactivity to trace a six or seven, then bank the time it returns.

Cartoon art keeps the shapes distinct at speed — necessary, since you are matching on both shape and colour, and at thirty seconds there is no time to squint.

1. Match candies by both shape and colour.
2. Press and drag across three or more to connect them.
3. Stretch the connection as far as the board allows — longer means more points and more time.
4. Keep the clock alive; it starts at thirty seconds.

Treat every three as a loss and every six as a profit. On a thirty-second clock the short connection costs more time to find than it returns, and long runs here belong to players who wait for the long route.
