Skydom Reforged

Skydom Reforged is a reworking of Skydom by the people behind Match Arena, and its pitch is aimed at players who have already ground through thousands of ordinary match-3 levels. The board is familiar; the modes around it are where the work has gone.

The setting is a set of high kingdoms floating above the clouds, and the visual overhaul is thorough enough that it reads as a new game rather than a re-skin. Colours are brighter, the pieces are cleaner, and the interface stays out of the way of the board.

If you have never played the original, none of that context is required — it is a straightforward puzzle you can open cold. If you have, the reason to come back is the modes: they are what the reforged version is actually selling, and they change how a board is worth playing rather than just how it looks.

How to Play

  1. Swap two neighbouring pieces to line up three or more of a colour.
  2. Try the different game modes rather than staying in one — they are the point of this version.
  3. Learn how each mode scores before chasing a result in it.
  4. Come back to the modes that suit your pace; there is no single intended route.

Tips & Tricks

Pick one mode and stay in it for a full session rather than sampling all of them. Each scores differently, and the habits that win in one will quietly lose you the other — which is exactly why the modes are worth treating as separate games.
